Providing Rhode Island Storage Solutions for over 120 Years
Arpin of RI has a revolutionary new warehousing program for small and medium-sized businesses who do not have their own warehousing space available called OnCall Warehousing or OCW. Think of OCW as an Air B&B for warehousing. No leases or commitments; just use us when only you need to.
We know that running a small business out of your home or truck can be trying, especially if you have orders that must be accepted, inventoried, managed, and delivered. Consider using Arpin of RI as your OnCall warehouse. We have a fee-based program where we can:
- Receive in-bound stock for you during business hours from freight carriers, UPS, or Fed Ex using our substantial warehouse infrastructure
- Inventory the materials received and check for damages
- Store those items in vaults or rack on pallets
- Pull inventory from storage and deliver to an address or simply make those materials available to you.
These are some of the scenarios where Arpin’s OnCall Warehousing makes sense
This is storage option is ideal for carpenters, electricians, and home improvement contractors who need short-term storage for special order items like windows, doors, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and cabinets. Arpin of RI has the materials handling equipment, man-power, and know how to carefully handle hyper-fragile items like these. After all, it’s what we do every day. We can simply store these items for you and your crews can pick them up all at once or a little at a time, or we can store them and professionally deliver them in any sequence you desire.
OnCall Temporary Warehousing Program
Arpin of Rhode Island is expanding its OnCall temporary warehousing program to include tradesman, contractors, and kitchen & bath designers. OnCall warehousing is a program which offers access to a full-service warehouse for special order items like kitchen cabinets, doors, windows, light fixtures, appliances, and bath fixtures.
The OnCall program allows designers and contractors to utilize our personnel, materials handling equipment, docks, warehouse, and warehousing software for the temporary storage of project items.
Timing, as the old saying goes, is everything. Timing is especially critical with renovation or construction projects. For the project to maintain its schedule, special order items must be received and inspected to ensure that their style, quantity, color, and condition can be verified far enough in advance to correct any issues. The trouble is, these items take up a lot of room, are a security risk, and are a liability if stored on site.
