Overtime loading and/or overtime unloading service is a fee-based charge designed to cover the increased labor costs for delivering after hours, on a weekend, or on a holiday. Typically, overtime loading or unloading is done for the convenience of the client. If the customer request delivery on a specific date which is a Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, Arpin of RI may charge an overtime fee or they may waive the fee. This fee is based on the weight of the shipment if it is assessed. Overtime loading or unloading may also be charged if the customer requests that loading or delivery services must be performed before or after normal working hours; before 8am or after 5 pm.
