Overflow

An overflow or leave-over as it is also known, is when the shipment does not fit into the allocated space on the truck and must be transported by other means. Typically, this occurs when there are multiple shipments on a truck and some, or all of them, are larger than anticipated. This means that there is insufficient room to accommodate the entirety of the last shipment. If an overflow is suspected, Arpin of RI’s drivers are trained to ensure that all of the critical items such as beds, clothing, and medicines are loaded onto the main truck and the only items left in the overflow are non-essential items. No one needs Christmas decoration in July or boogie boards in December. The overflow will be shipped immediately, so the two shipment sections arrive as close to each other as possible.
