The order for service or OFS is the service contract for the move which stipulates all of the services to be performed and the costs for those services. The salesperson will view the shipment items, in person or virtually and interview the customer to determine the requested services. Then they will create a listing of every item identified by the customer to be moved called the Order for Service. The OFS lists all of the services and their costs. A signed OFS creates a binding obligation on the mover to perform the services requested, but is not binding on the customer; they may cancel at any time.
