Skin

A skin is 4’ by 5’ lightweight protective pad used on moving trucks. It has two layers, a cotton liner with a rugged burlap exterior. A skin is used to protect smaller items such as delicate tables that may be crushed by the much heavier moving pad. In addition to skins and pads, Arpin of RI also used “burlaps”, which are 4’ by 5’ plain burlap material to wrap tools and garage items as well as “space savers” which are much larger versions of skins. Together with cardboard, export wrap, stretch wrap, these four wrapping options give Arpin of RI crews everything needed to keep your precious items protected during the move.
