Exclusive use is the term used to describe reserving all of the space in the truck or trailer. In the moving industry, customers typically contract only a portion of the trucks capacity and other customers may be co-loaded as well. However, customers may charter the entire truck from Arpin of RI if the prefer in order to optimize the delivery time table or they just want to be the only shipment on the truck. To reserve the entire truck, the customer would have to pay the equivalent of the average capacity of the truck. Typically, this is 12,000 pounds for a straight truck and 25,000 pounds for a trailer.
