A delay claim is a claim filed by a customer seeking monetary compensation because the mover failed to deliver the shipment within the agreed delivery spread. While Arpin RI always strives to meet their delivery obligations, there are rare instances when they cannot. Customers who have a valid delay claim are compensated by a per diem fine. In instances where the shipment is not delivered in a timely manner, customers should contact the Arpin RI office immediately. They will be sent claim forms to begin the process of settling the delay claim.
