Advance charges are charges for services performed by a 3rd party provider contracted by the moving company at the customer’s request. 3rd party experts, such as plumbers, electricians, or professional handy-men are hired when their services are considered essential for the completion of the move or to comply with local ordinances. Arpin RI will pay these 3rd party providers for these extra services and add those amounts to the final charges on the Bill of Lading.
